This project brings together Semantic Web, Cyberinfrastructure and Digital Libraries.<br /><br />The new tools will be built on top of several existing tools that belong to different categories:<br /><br />a) Social Bookmarking (or, Annotation) Tools (e.g., Delicious, Connotea, CiteULike, Bibsonomy)<br />b) Advanced Search Tools (e.g., Google Scholar, Academic Live Search)<br />c) Scientific Databases (e.g., PubChem, PubMed)<br />d) Conference and Journal Management Tools (e.g., CMT, Manuscript Central)<br /><br />The software system will be built based on two general principles:<br /><br />i) Each component will be packed as a service as long as this does not lead to performace degradation;<br />ii) If a needed capability exists, we will not replace it but rather wrap it as a service.<br /><br />Various Machine Learning methods will be explored in order to create "mash-up" applications, giving significant added value.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/37269305-116287355013804989?l=aurelcami.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Aurel Camihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12925340378305732061noreply@blogger.com1
